The Sacred Circle Community Garden is a project of St. John AME Church, New Covenant Christian Church, and their North Nashville Neighbors begun in 2020. The space for the garden became available after St John AME Church was demolished by a tornado. The church decided to rebuild and to include a community vegetable garden to help alleviate the food desert in the surrounding area. The garden was designed by Tricia L. Townes and Nancy Lunsford.
